bringing stories to life

Within the last week or so, I've been aching to write. I've been blogging, sharing posts to Glipho, working on my novel and even started a journal, which is something I've never really been into. I used to write a diary when I was a kid, but now I'm considering of actually starting a journal and trying to make it a regular habit to write it. I was surprised by how good I felt afterwards.

The more I write, the more I feel like it's what I should be doing. I may not be a great writer, but I can feel and see myself getting better at it every day. I used to underestimate the advice every author gives to pursuing writers.
Write. Write every single day. Write even though you don't know what to write. Just write.

Oh, how true that is. Such a simple piece of advice will get you there, though. It will help you.

I would write, write and write. I can't get enough of it :)

Some day my novel will be finished, and I can't wait for that day. I don't really have expectations as to what I will feel like when that day finally arrives. Some authors say they feel empty, some triumphant, some feel numb. Numb as in having the work done, and that's it. It's their job.
Right now I think there won't be much time for me to feel much of anything besides excitement.
After finishing my first novel, I'll have to start writing the sequel.
Busy, busy!

Have a nice weekend :)
