TAG: The Common White Girl

I've seen this tag on YouTube by some of my favorite vloggers, but since I haven't developed any skills in vlogging I thought I'd do this tag in writing! 

I think it's a fun tag, and no, I have absolutely no idea why it's called the common white girl tag, but it's not meant to offend anyone in any way, so please just sit back and enjoy! :) And, if you feel up to it, do the tag and leave me a link to it in the comment section!

1. What is your favorite Starbucks drink?

I don't have just one.. gosh. Ok, so my favorites are: Caramel Macchiato with the caramel and vanilla flavors reduced by half, a Vanilla Frappuccino, and an Iced Tazo Tea lemonade, passion -flavor and sweetened. 

2. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?

10-30 minutes, depending on where I'm going and what I will be doing.

3. How many selfies do you take on a daily basis?

0-10 :D I only take selfies when I feel pretty. That's when I take a lot of selfies and try to decide which one will be my new profile pic. Sad. 

4. How many Instagram pics and followers do you have?

Currently I have 429 pictures and 209 followers. 

5. Do you ever say 'LOL' or 'OMG' out loud?

No. On a rare occasion I might say them as a joke, but I never say them seriously. But I do write 'lol' sometimes. Rarely 'omg'. OMG. 

6. Do you wear the same clothing item more than once?

Yes. I can't afford to be buying new clothes all the time :D 

7. Are you racist?

Extremely. COME ON! What kind of a question is this?! Of course I'm not racist. 

8. How many tweets do you have?

I don't really use my Twitter account... I don't have the energy to look up how many times I tweeted when I started, but it's something between 20-30. 

9. Instagram, Twitter or Tumblr?

INSTAGRAM! I'm so addicted, I just love it. I don't really get Twitter and especially not Tumblr. 

10. What do you spend most of your time doing?

Wondering about stuff. Watching TV Shows, writing, blogging...

Um... never :( sadly, my work doesn't allow me to wear any nail polish or have long nails, so I can't really do my nails. Sometimes I do grow them out for a vacation.

Definitely not.

Probably about twenty times.

15. Do you own a lot of clothes?

Yes. And I only wear a fraction of them. So in a way, no.

16. Do you take pictures of your food before you eat it?

I'm so busy to eat it, I rarely remember to take pics of my food. Unless it looks totally amazing, in which case I do have to brag and put it all over the social media. 

17. Do you wear make-up every day?

Yes. Unless I'm sick. 

18. What are your average grades at school?

I'm not at school at the moment, but I was always a good student. A little above average I think :D 

19. How do you usually style your hair?

Messy bun. I always keep my hair tied and out of the way unless I have a day off and I'm going to places and want to look nice :D

Blogger Tag

Is it too much if I do one tag per week from now on? I don't really keep track on how much other bloggers post tags, but I love them and think they add something fun to any blog. I don't know if I'll be doing more of them, but here's another one for ya! :)

1. What is your dream vacation?

Well.. y'all know how much I love to travel :) For me a dream vacation includes good company, new and exciting places to see, new experiences, relaxing and preferably a nice, warm weather. It's not always about the location. One can have a shitty vacay in Hawaii and a perfectly good one in Siberia. Not that I have experience on either, but you know what I mean ;)

2. Are you spontaneous or do you like to plan ahead?

I'm a bit of both, but mostly I do like to plan. I hate it when plans change at the last minute, but sometimes I'm the one who makes the last minute change. So go figure. 

3. Tell us one thing you want to do, but don't dare to do it.

Getting a tattoo. It's something I've been thinking about for a very long time but haven't had the guts (or the money) to do it. Maybe some day I will. 

4. What's your biggest phobia?

Well, I only have one phobia. I am insanely afraid of heights. 

5. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you want with you? (Not your laptop or family)

Can I pick my phone? If not then a thick notebook with empty pages, a stack of pens and a camera. 

6. Name three things in your life that you are thankful for.

My mother, the internet which allows me to share my life with you all, and having experienced a lot in my 24 years. 

7. What was your nick name in High School?

I don't know. I hope I didn't have one. Toward the end of high school I was pretty invisible, so I think people just knew me by my first name. 

8. If you could meet the President of the United States, what would you say to him?

I think I'm supposed to come up with something incredibly profound to say to him, but honestly, I would just ask him to arrange it so that I could get a green card and move to the States. Pretty please with a cherry on top? :)

9. If you could be any literary character, who would you be?

Elizabeth Bennet, Hermione Granger, Katniss Everdeen, Lena Morgan… The list goes on and on. 

10. What is your favorite quote?

Right now, it's: "It's hard to wait around for something you know might never happen, but it's harder to give up when you know it's everything you want." by unknown. But right now, this hits me.

TAG: 15 Things You Don't Know About Me

Sometimes, no matter how much I want to blog and tell you guys stuff, it's just not coming out of me. I can't tell you how many posts I've started and then abandoned in the last couple of weeks. Well.. I don't know what happened :D writer's block? Laziness? Confusion about… everything? Life itself. Maybe.

But I want to blog about something. So, people, it's time for a TAG!

I love tags and have posted them, some much alike this one, but in this tag I'm not just going to be listing 15 random things about me. I'm going to try and find 15 things you don't know about me; things I'm not talking about in this blog. Ready? Let's go ;)

1. I broke my left wrist when I was seven.

2. I got glasses maybe… um.. four years ago? :D And I loved the fact that I had to get glasses. Mostly for reading, but I wore them all the time. And now I never do. I should, but I don't know. Maybe I'm feeling a little rebellious now. 

3. I have a bad habit of tearing my nails. I don't bite them, ever (ew, I don't get it!). Sometimes I let my nails grow and I actually love wearing nail polish, but can't that often (not allowed to wear it at work). And when my nails are long, I'm super aware of them all the time, and can't help but tear them short again at some point. 

4. I work at a hamburger restaurant and I'm a shift manager.

5. I watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I don't know why… I kinda like it!

6. When I drive alone, I sing a lot. But I never sing in the shower, I find it weird. 

7. I don't know how to make coffee. I really don't… It always turns out way too strong. I don't know how to make drinkable coffee!

8. I am crazy about jalapeños. 

9. I cry very easily.

10. I never played with actual dolls when I was a kid, I didn't like them. But Barbie dolls are different, and I played with them until I was eleven. 

11. I'm related to Pamela Andersson. 

12. I hate cherries in every form.

13. I would love to wear lipstick more often, but I don't like the shape of my lips. Hail vanity..

14. I've never seen the Godfather movies.

15. If I wasn't allergic to dogs, I would get a chihuahua. They are so damn cute!

It took me about two hours to do this… making lists is hard! You try. I dare ya ;)

1. For me blogging is:

- A way to express myself, an escape, a fun hobby, a booster... what isn't it? 

2. Name five beauty products that are a must to you.

- Foundation, powder, eyebrow pencil, blush, mascara. Ok, they were all make-up products, basically the ones that I use every single day. Five is too few... because there's a lot more I'd like to add to that list, and they're not all make-up products!

3. What is your main priority in life?

- Living a purposeful life. whoa... cliché much? yeah.. but that's still true. 

4. You just won $3000. Which store would you run to?

- Probably Louis Vuitton, and I would finally get that bag I've been wanting for so many years... the rest of the money I would spend on traveling. 

5. What makes you laugh out loud?

- I rarely laugh out loud when I'm alone, but with friends I do it a lot :) I guess they bring it out of me. 

6. What does your family think about your blogging?

- Well... My mom totally supports it and thinks it's great. I don't think my brother has ever even seen my blog, and maybe neither has my dad... I don't know. I'm not advertising my blog that much anymore. And I've been blogging for, like, three years :D 

7. Three of your future goals?

- Become a writer, start a family, see the world

8. Something that you've learned recently?

- That I'm a total scatter brain!

9. A pet peeve?

- People eating with their mouth open and making that noise.. makes me want to punch them in their throats. 

10. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?

- This is sooooo hard! I don't know! Maybe Stephen King. 

11. What does your ideal day look like?

- No work, obviously. A day, where I could fit in writing, filming, hanging out with friends and watching a good movie.

The FIVE THINGS Challenge!

1. My iPhone. Could not live without it. It's got Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Internet browser, Email, music, contacts, notes... everything. I know it's such vanity to be this addicted to a cell phone, but come on... you know you are, too.

2. Ear meds. Yeah... how fun. 

3. Music. I attach memories and thoughts into certain songs. Music inspires me and gets me going. 

4. Positive thoughts. I need to think positive and occasionally remind myself that it's all right :) Yay! 

5. Alone time. No matter how much I love my family and friends, no matter how much fun I'm having, I need some time to myself every day. I've never had any problems being alone, I enjoy it. I'm a little concerned this will be a problem if I ever get married, but haha, that's not happening any time soon, so why bother x) 

5 BOOKS YOU WOULD RECOMMEND:

1. Stephen King's On Writing. Mind blowing and amazing. 

2. The Lovely Bones. The movie sucks, don't watch it. Read the book. Makes you want to hold on to it until you're finished, and maybe a little longer. 

3. All of the Harry Potter books. Again, don't judge them based on the movies. READ the books!

4. The Hunger Games. 

5. Kathryn Stockett's The Help. One of the best books ever. I love love love it so much, it is so real and touching and wonderful. I think I may just have to read it again, soon...

- Some are. But mainly I enjoy musicals.

- Christina Perri... but I wouldn't call it a concert, it was more like a gig. So I think Celine Dion was my last actual concert.
